With over 28 years in residential and commercial construction, I’ve seen just about everything—some done right, and plenty that wasn’t. Like most carpenters, I’ve had my share of trial and error, but my commitment to learning and improving has always set me apart. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside skilled craftsmen, gaining knowledge that is becoming increasingly rare in the industry.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that customers—and even some architects—don’t always know exactly what they need or how to implement it.  The first and most important step in any project is to clearly define the goal and understand the why behind it.  Too often, I’ve seen poor communication lead to frustrated clients and costly mistakes. Now, as a licensed Finish Carpentry Contractor, I make it a priority to get it right from the start—avoiding the missteps I’ve seen (and made) in the past.
